Purpose - The Parent Advisory Council shall gather information from the students, staff, parents, and community to represent Nokesville Elementary School. The Council will provide recommendations pertaining to the School Strategic Plan to the school principal. It will provide assistance and support to the Principal and School Leadership Team in developing and modifying the School Statement of Mission and Vision. It will assist in developing the School Strategic Plan, including objectives, strategies, and action plans. The Council will assist in aligning the School Strategic Plan with the Division Strategic Plan and monitor and evaluate the implementation of this plan. It will assist in aligning the Operating School Budget with the school plan and regularly review the alignment of the school professional development plan with the school plan. In addition, the Council will assume other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Principal and School Leadership Team.
